O’Donnell shot a 2-over 39 on the front and that led to a 7-up lead over 16th-seeded Lorrie Sienko at the turn. She did not slow down from there, using par wins at Nos. 10 and 11 to put away the match.

Lisa Sobba battled Jessica Kammann in a close match all afternoon, and Sobba came away with a 1-up win when it was all said and done.

Sobba got wins at 2, 3 and 5 to start well and then added a strong start on the back. Par wins at Nos. 11 and 12 moved her to 3-up and another par win at 14 helped her hold off a strong challenge from Kammann.

Andrea Allyn got par wins right off the bat against Jenny Odland in a 5-4 win.

Odland bounced back with wins on 4 and 5, but it was all Allyn after that. She used two more pars to get wins at 8 and 9. That left her two up at the turn, and she grabbed par wins at Nos. 11 and 13 around a bogey win at 12 to help secure her spot in the quarterfinals.

Molly Baker won five straight holes on the back nine to turn a two-hole deficit into a 3-2 win over Jessica Anderson.

Anderson parred Nos. 8 and 9 to take her biggest lead at 2-up into the turn. Baker took control from there. She got bogey wins at 10 and 12, and then added par wins on Nos. 13, 14 and 16.

Heather Steege used two pars and a birdie at No. 3 to take a quick 3-up lead in her eventual 4-3 win over Colleen Boerboom.

Boerboom stuck around after that early deficit. She got one back with a par win at 5 and a birdie win on the par-five 12th hole. That cut Steege’s lead to 2-up, but Steege came right back with par wins at 14 and 15 to come away with the win.

Both players went par, bogey, bogey over the next three. But Lambros found a way to finish with the two pars down the stretch sealing the deal.

Cummings def. Peters, 4-3

Caitlin Cummings never really wavered in her 4-3 win over Karna Peters.

Cummings won holes 4-6 to take a 3-up lead. Peters got one back at the ninth, but Cummings won the first three holes after the turn with two pars and a birdie. That was plenty to get the job done as she moved to 5-up and withstood Peters’ final win of the afternoon at 14.
