Conor Bradley has revealed how Liverpool are staying in touch with him and monitoring his progress at Bolton Wanderers during his loan spell with the club.
Bradley is a bright young defender and has a big chance this year to show what he can do in senior football, having spent much of his time playing youth football for the Reds in recent times.
It’s naturally a big step up but so far he feels as though he has been enjoying the challenges that have presented themselves, with Bolton overall having a decent start to the League One campaign this year.
Ultimately, the aim for Bradley will be to try and impress greatly with the Trotters and build a case to break into the Liverpool first team in the years ahead, although he may need more loans between now and that happening.
The Reds are keeping firm tabs on him, though, and he revealed just the sort of contact they are making during his spell with the Trotters:
“It has been massive that they have kept in contact and they still want to know how I am doing and how I am settling in,” Bradley said via the Bolton News.
“Liverpool have been great that way and I can’t thank them enough.
“It was the right time to make the loan move. I needed to get out and play as many games as I could.
“It is a big learning curve for me but it is a move I had to make and I can’t wait for the rest of the season.”
Bradley is relishing the challenge of league football and breaking into a senior first team, with it clear that he has made a positive start to life at the Trotters having quickly become a regular in the side.
The challenge will be to stay there and to keep improving, while also helping Bolton this season with their aim of fighting for the play-offs.
